Minister of economic affairs Boskovic had meeting with MUE representatives

Minister of economic affairs in Government of Republic of Montenegro, Predrag Boskovic, had meeting with the representatives of Montenegrin Union of Employers. Montenegrin Union of Employers was presented by Predrag Mitrovic, the President, Ivan Mitrovic and Predrtag Drecun, the Vice presidents and Budimir Raickovic, the Secretary General, while the Association of employers of Bijelo Polje was presented by Jezdimir Vuijicic, the member of MUE Managing Board.
During very open and constructive conversation, estimating MUE results achieved in the previous period as very impressive, minister Boskovic emphasized the importance of MUE's activities, especially its contribution to development of social dialogue and attraction of quality foreign investments in Montenegro . There should be mentioned that MUE gathers the most successful entrepreneurs among who is Eco Medusa, whose owner Jezdimir Vujicic and manager Mirko Drobnjak received congratulations by minister Boskovic, who appraised this enterprise for receiving three gold and one silver medal on the agricultural fair organized in Novi Sad .
During the meeting the MUE representatives presented minister Boskovic with the problems Montenegrin employers face that obstruct the development of business and entrepreneurship in particular of small and medium enterprises. Reminding on announce addressed to business banks with an aim of reduction of existing interest rates, the representatives of Montenegrin Union of Employers expressed request for implementation of more stimulating credit policy, as well as policy of reduction of services prices on the financial market and prices in payments dealings. Also, it was emphasized on the meeting that prices of electric power, water and telecommunication services the employers pay should not be discriminating, and it is necessary that policy of prices of such services should be more stimulating in the following period. Considering taxes and contributions, MUE once more emphasized that overall employer burdens should not be less than 50%.
MUE also pointed out the need on passing quality strategy of economic development whose goal is increase of competitiveness of Montenegrin economy, direct foreign investments and unemployment reduction. MUE representatives also confirmed the continuation of activities related with launching of the initiatives for change of laws that are of importance for economic ambience. Regarding this, minister Boskovic announced the organization of common activities that will be aimed at improvement on economic ambience in Montenegro and creation of better conditions for business development.
